To ensure reliable use of the electrical storage for the entire lifetime of the battery, Enico offers the customer ready-made solutions for carrying out maintenance and service

Service for the entire life of the equipment

The energy storage will be equipped with a data collection and condition monitoring system, which enables in most fault situations to find out the quality of the fault and implement repair routines remotely. It also enables the necessary data and communication with the organizations of the main equipment manufacturers.

 

EnicoSAFE

The EnicoSAFE maintenance service is a comprehensive package of spare parts, site operations and on-call expert services related to the supplied energy storage system, which ensure the system’s usability throughout the product’s entire life cycle.

 

The customer can choose this proactive maintenance and longer-term solution to the desired extent up to 10 years. The contract includes various maintenance activities every year, including e.g. more extensive update tasks at the fifth year to keep the systems up to date. Contract customers are also granted a discount on spare parts prices.

 

The services of the maintenance contract for a period of 10 years are briefly:

 

Years 1…4 include the tasks mentioned below, and during the warranty period of the equipment (years 1…2), a reduced price is granted to the customer.

  • Normal maintenance procedures and inspections
  • Remote monitoring and phone support
  • Software updates

Year 5 is the year of extended maintenance and includes:

  • Extensive application update of the automation system operating system
  • Extensive hardware maintenance and replacement of cooling fans
  • Remote monitoring and phone support

Years 6…10 are again years of normal maintenance like years 1…4.

 

Hardware upgrade and battery replacement

The exchange of the battery can already be agreed upon with the purchase of the energy storage. At the end of the service life, after about 10 years of use, the replacement can then be done as agreed in connection with other renewal measures, and Enico takes care of the recycling of the removed batteries. Enico is a member of the battery producer community established for recycling.

 

Of course, the maintenance service is also available without a contract, in which case we charge the work and travel expenses of the maintenance staff according to our service price list valid at any given time.

 

About defect repair times in general

Enico’s energy storage equipment consists of hardware and hardware units, whose normal spare parts Enico tries to store in order to achieve a quick maintenance response time. In addition, the speed of maintenance is affected by the nature of the fault.

 

In general, normal component damage can be repaired within one working day of verifying the quality of the defect. However, if the fault is related to the device and equipment (such as automation system, battery technology or inverter equipment) manufacturer’s own internal control system or its abnormal operation, in that case the manufacturer of the equipment in question and its expert organization must be consulted. In these cases, Enico is dependent on the speed of the maintenance organization of the equipment manufacturer in question. Even in these cases, Enico strives with all available means to minimize the maintenance time of the equipment and ensure its maximum availability.
