Automous signs a contract with Enico for multi-market optimization of Enico’s fleets of large-scale battery storages. Enico trades batteries in Finland’s reserve power markets. Enico also markets and sells Automous’ forecasting based optimization service to its end customers. The contract is for a five-year initial period.
Our collaboration started 20 months ago when Automous was still a research project in Aalto University. Enico was one of our first industry proof of concept (PoC) partners. We thank Enico`s Anssi Seilo for numerous iterations of the product concept and scope, as well as for helping identify the right level of technical sophistication expected from a commercial product.

Enico has been a good collaborator every step of the way as we have raised the technology readiness level of our product-service from a lab prototype to commercial B2B SaaS – and is now our first paying customer. We are very happy about this, and we look forward to exploring further business opportunities to commercialize Automous’ multi-market optimization capabilities for different kinds of large-scale energy storages and co-located assets in the future.
